This early harvest, high polyphenolic oil is produced from organically farmed Picual olives grown in the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, a region renowned for its unique microclimate and traditional olive cultivation practices. The oil holds the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Baena certification, ensuring its quality and authenticity.
Made from dry-farmed Picual variety olive groves. Harvested in the second fortnight of October by hand and by shaking.
Tasting notes:
A green fruity oil of mild to medium intensity with aromas of apple, banana and freshly cut grass. On the palate it is sweet with notes of almond, aromatic herbs and green wheat. Finished with a pleasant spiciness. Complex and well balanced.

From the producers: 'Morellana is the leading brand of Sucesores de Hermanos López. Their traditional mountain olive grove are set on the high slopes at an altitude of 700 to 1000 meters above sea level. Extraction is carried out no later than 4 hours after harvesting by means of a continuous two-phase centrifugation system.'
