We are pleased to obtain an exclusive supply of this very special early harvest, limited edition olive oil, from the superb Olio Ciccolella in Puglia, Italy - already sold out in Italy at the producer, but available here from Olivver.

Esordio is obtained from the pressing of olives harvested in the very first days of October, when the olives' maximum fruitiness and complexity are on offer; in this case  Esordio is the result of a unique blend of the Ogliarola barese and Coratina varieties.

Expect lots of vibrant fresh-cut grass aromas, with lashings of green tomato and wild herbs. On the palate, you'll get the taste of artichoke, green almond and olive leaf, followed by Coratina's unmistakable peppery finish. It's robust, beautifully balanced and wonderfully fresh, with the bitterness and pepper working in harmony - that balance being the key to a fine EVOO. This olive oil transforms simple food: drizz over bakes, meats, vegetables, soups or simply enjoy with warm crusty bread.

For lovers of full-flavoured, high-quality EVOO, Esordio is a magnificent expression of southern Italy.
