Organic Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Northern Puglia, Italy. 500mls.

A delicious blend of the bright, spicy notes of Peranzana and the bold intensity of Coratina, Monogram Biologico is a beautifully balanced extra virgin olive oil, offering  aromas of bitter almond alongside subtle hints of artichoke stem, tomato leaf, and aromatic herbs. On the palate it delivers a well-structured harmony of bitterness and spice - distinct yet harmonious.

Obtained only from organic olives of the Coratina and Peranzana varieties, grown without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers and herbicides, guaranteeing a high-quality, environmentally-friendly product.

Sensory Analysis:
Taste: Medium fruitiness
Aroma: Green Tomato, artichoke (typical of high-quality Coratina oils), almond, cut grass & herbs (bright and grassy notes); green apple, a subtle fruitiness that balances the oil’s peppery intensity. A strong pungency and spicy finish (due to the high polyphenol content) make it an excellent choice for dishes needing an aromatic kick.

Food pairings:
All appetizers and salads, cooked and raw vegetables, red meats, barbecued meats. Monogram Biologico pairs perfectly with grilled meats, enhancing the rich flavours with its bitter and spicy notes. Ideal for seasoning pasta with robust sauces enriched with herbs, this oil also stands out on grilled or steamed vegetables, such as courgettes and peppers. ‘Olio Guglielmi has been producing extra virgin olive oil in Puglia, and more precisely in Andria, since 1954. The 200 hectares of land where the olive groves are form an integral part of not only the economic but also the social culture. 

This olive oil is from a range called ‘Le Monocultivar’, created to reflect the territorial identity of the brand. 

Each oil is a celebration of the Coratina, Ogliarola and Peranzana varietals, and pressed within two hours of harvesting. The result is excellent quality extra virgin olive oils that speak of the terroir from which they come.'
